Technology Workshops this Summer 2013...

The first workshop was on Photo Story. It focused on the kids recording in their own words to hear a story that used photographs or art created in a power point page then saved as a jpeg to insert in the program. I had so much fun and made several that day to use in my classroom this year. I have one on daily expectation with clip art from the internet placed in power point then added to photo story. The other introduces myself and used photos of my family. The kids will make one to introduce themselves that will play on parent night at our school. Great little program that is easy to use.

The workshop I went to today had so many ideas that I don't know where to start. Casey Hunter did an awesome job. I created 3 items to use this year and made notes to help with more ideas. Prezi is one of the programs. It is like a power point presentation, but there are more whistles and bells. Another site had a way to present an idea or question and let kids put a postit note on the page via the net. http://en.linoit.com/  It could be used as a wonderful notetaking device.

These are the links that I liked best from today's workshop.
